Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using dots brain (the “Service”) provided by 똑똑한개발자 (“we”), and the rights and obligations of us and our users.

Article 2 (The Service)

The Service is a second brain where you record people, groups, relationships, and notes, and where AI assistants you connect (dots, ChatGPT, etc.) can read and write them.

Article 3 (Accounts)

• You must sign up with accurate information and keep your account and API keys secure.
• If you think an API key or connection has leaked, revoke or disconnect it immediately and let us know.

Article 4 (Information you record)

• You own and are responsible for the information you record.
• When recording information about other people, follow applicable laws and do not record sensitive information beyond what you need (health, beliefs, national ID numbers, and so on).
• What an AI assistant records at your request is treated as recorded by you. You can review, edit, or delete it at any time.

Article 5 (Prohibited conduct)

• Using someone else’s account or API key without permission
• Bypassing the Service’s security or trying to access other users’ information
• Using the Service for illegal purposes or to infringe others’ rights
• Sending an abnormal volume of requests that disrupts the Service

Article 6 (Changes and suspension)

We may change or suspend the Service for operational or technical reasons and will give advance notice of changes that are unfavorable to you or of suspension. If we shut down the Service, we will give you enough time to export your information.

Article 7 (Limitation of liability)

• The accuracy of answers produced by an AI assistant is up to that AI service; we only pass along the information you recorded.
• We are not liable for damages caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or outages of third-party services (authentication, hosting, database providers, etc.), except in cases of our intent or gross negligence.

Article 8 (Closing your account and restrictions)

You may close your account at any time, and your information will then be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may restrict use of the Service if you violate Article 5.

Article 9 (Governing law and disputes)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes will be resolved by the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

Effective date: 2026년 10월 3일

If the Korean and English versions differ, the Korean version prevails.
