Privacy Policy
똑똑한개발자 (“we”) operates dots brain (the “Service”) and processes your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and other applicable laws.
1. Information we process
- Account information: email address, name, and profile photo (for social sign-in, whatever that provider shares)
- Information you enter: your own profile, and information you record about other people (name, nickname, email, phone number, role, organization, relationship, notes, and so on)
- Connection information: the name, creation date, and last-used time of API keys you create (we store only a hash, never the key itself), and access tokens issued when you connect ChatGPT
- Automatically collected information: access logs, IP address, and browser information needed to operate and secure the Service
2. Why we process it
- To sign you up, sign you in, and verify your identity
- To store the relationships and context you record, and to let AI assistants you connect (dots, ChatGPT, etc.) read and write them at your request
- To operate the Service, respond to incidents, prevent abuse, and answer your questions
We do not use the information you enter for advertising or to train AI models.
3. Retention and deletion
We delete your personal information without delay when you close your account or delete it yourself, except where the law requires us to keep it for a set period, after which we delete it. Electronic files are deleted so they cannot be recovered.
4. Processors and international transfer
We use the following providers to run the Service. Your information may be stored outside Korea (for example, in the United States).

5. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent. When you connect an AI assistant yourself (dots, OpenAI ChatGPT, etc.), the information needed to handle your request is sent to that service. You can disconnect at any time (revoke the API key or disconnect ChatGPT), and that service’s own policies govern how it processes the information.
6. Information about other people
You may record information about other people. Only you can see what you record; it is never shared with other users. Please record only what you need and follow applicable laws. If someone asks for information about them to be deleted, contact us below.
7. Your rights
You can view, edit, or delete your information at any time, and you can stop all processing by closing your account. Do it yourself in the Service or ask us using the contact below, and we will act without delay.
8. Security measures
- All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
- Each user’s data is separated so no one can access another user’s information.
- API keys are stored only as hashes and can be revoked at any time.
- Access is kept to a minimum and access logs are retained.

10. Changes
We will announce changes to this policy in the Service at least 7 days before they take effect. Effective date: 2026년 10월 3일
If the Korean and English versions differ, the Korean version prevails.
